Common use of Deficient Certification Clause in Contracts

Deficient Certification. If the Unit member provides an incomplete medical certification, the District must give the Unit member a reasonable opportunity to cure any such deficiency. However, if the Unit member fails to provide a timely medical certification, the District may delay the Unit member’s Family and Medical Leave until the Unit member provides the required certification.
