Common use of Deceased persons Clause in Contracts

Deceased persons. while information relating to deceased persons is not covered by the provisions of the Data Protection Act, the Parties agree that this information remains sensitive and confidential in nature and should be protected by appropriate measures. In general, requests for information relating to the deceased will only be complied with where the law confers such a right (under the Access to Medical Records Xxx 0000 as amended) or where it can be seen to be compatible with ongoing professional obligations of confidentiality to the deceased person and their right to privacy
