Day Support. An intensive rehabilitative program which provides a range of integrated and varied life skills training (e .g., health, hygiene, nutritional issues, money management, maintaining living arrangement, sym ptom management) for Medicaid Enrollees to promote improved funetioning or a restoration to a previous higher level of function ing. The program is designed to assist the individual in the acquisition of skills, retention of current functioning or improvement in the current level of functioning, appropriate sociali zation and adaptive coping skills. Eligible individuals must demonstrate restricted functioning as 1evidenced by an inability to provide for their instrumental activities of daily living. This modality may be p rovided as an adjunctive treatment or as a primary intervention. The staff lo consumer ratio is no more than 1 :20 and is p rovided by or under the supervision of a Mental Health Professional in a location easily accessible to the client (e.g., community mental health agencies, community centers). This service is available five (5) hours per day, five (5) days per week.
Day Support. 8.4.1 If the Shared Lives Carer is providing Day Support to the Individual, the fees payable to the Shared Lives Carer for the provision of Day Support will be the Care and Support Payment and any Additional Payment. The amount of Care and Support Payment and Additional Payments to be paid to the Shared Lives Carer for providing the Day Support shall be determined by the Shared Lives Scheme and the Authority, taking into account the Shared Lives Scheme’s payment banding levels. 8.4.2 The Shared Lives Carer will provide the Shared Lives Worker with the details and duration of the Day Support they have provided to the Individual and shall invoice either the Shared Lives Scheme or the Authority for the Care and Support Payment and Additional Payments that are due in accordance with the Shared Lives Scheme’s policies and guidance.
Day Support. If any DSS Equipment proves to be defective after delivery hereunder, but such defect is not covered (whether through the passage of time or otherwise) by the warranties provided for in Section 22 above, then BTL shall be responsible, at its sole cost and expense, for providing all necessary maintenance and repair service and replacement parts for any such defective DSS Equipment.
