Day School Sample Clauses

Day School. Con Ed Teachers who have been employed with the Board as a Con Ed Teacher for a minimum period of two consecutive School Years and who are working a minimum of five hours a day for five days per week shall be entitled to access the Board's Extended Health and Dental Benefit Plans provided the Member pays 100% of the premiums via payroll deduction. Deductions for the summer months shall be withheld during the month of June. Availability, terms and eligibility criteria of the Insurer shall prevail at all times. Members shall only have access to benefits as long as they continue to be employed by the Board and so long as they meet the aforementioned criteria.

  • Middle School At the request of the Superintendent, a middle school teacher may volunteer on a semester basis to teach all the student contact time and be paid one-sixth (1/6) of his/her salary for the semester. This section shall not be used to circumvent the hiring of additional full time teachers.

  • High School At the request of the Superintendent, a high school teacher may volunteer on a semester basis to teach all the student contact time and be paid one sixth (1/6) of his/her salary for the semester. This section shall not be used to circumvent the hiring of additional full time teachers.

  • MIDDLE SCHOOLS 1. Where there are no negotiated provisions concerning the implementation or operation of a middle school program, this article shall govern the implementation or operation of a middle school program in a school district.

  • Secondary Schools a. Department Chairs (Department Heads) are primarily curricular. The job descriptions include but are not limited to the duties listed.

  • High Schools Wherever possible, no more than eighty students shall be tested at any one time.

  • Elementary School At the request of the Superintendent, elementary school teachers that teach all the student contact time on a daily basis will be paid for an additional hour at an hourly rate based upon their contractual daily rate of pay for a maximum of 180 days. Teachers will not be required to spend additional time beyond their regular day. All scheduling options must have been exhausted before an administrator will receive permission for this variance. The appeal process for this variance is defined in the Staffing Plan.

  • Summer School SUCCESS employees are not eligible for this provision. Employees engaged in teaching summer school shall be granted two summer school days of absence in a single term for either sick leave or emergency leave, or a combination of both, non-accumulative.

  • School Any public elementary or secondary school including a charter school, universal pre- kindergarten program authorized pursuant to Education Law § 3602-e, an approved provider of preschool special education, any other publicly funded pre-kindergarten program, a school serving children in a special act school district as defined in Education Law § 4001, an approved private school for the education of students with disabilities, a State-supported school subject to the provisions of Article 85 of the Education Law, or a State-operated school subject to the provisions of Articles 87 or 88 of the Education Law.

  • Elementary Schools a. Elementary Leaders

  • School Day A. The length of the school day shall be seven (7) hours and five (5) minutes inclusive of the arrival and departure time.
