Date of Initial Notification. The date of initial notification is the date when any representative of Aspen is made aware of the minimum information which constitutes a valid report ( an identifiable patient, an identifiable reporter, a suspected reaction, and a suspect drug). This includes both verbal and written communication, and is classes as day zero (0) of the regulatory reporting process.
