Data Construction and Description. The micro loan data used in this paper consist of transactions of entrusted loans between Chinese firms, facilitated by trustees as middlemen. The sample is from 2007 to 2013. We read various data sources line by line and combine them to ensure the accuracy of our manually constructed dataset.
