Data Assurances Sample Clauses
The Data Assurances clause establishes the obligations and commitments of parties regarding the accuracy, integrity, and security of data shared or processed under the agreement. Typically, it requires each party to confirm that any data they provide is complete, accurate, and compliant with applicable laws, and may also set standards for data protection and prompt notification in case of data breaches. This clause serves to allocate responsibility for data quality and security, reducing the risk of disputes or liabilities arising from incorrect or mishandled data.
Data Assurances. All data uploaded by Client into or created using the Services used by Client is owned solely by the Client and Paymentus will not access such data unless for the sole purpose of delivering the Services. Client may access and retrieve all Client data stored using the Services at its sole discretion, regardless of who created the content and for what purpose. Paymentus will permanently delete all data and copies of data from its systems when deleted by the Client or any authorized End User except when it is required to maintain compliance with rules and regulations.
