Cyclic Positions Sample Clauses
The Cyclic Positions clause defines a system where certain roles, responsibilities, or positions rotate among designated parties at regular intervals. In practice, this means that each participant will assume a specific position for a set period before passing it on to the next party in a predetermined sequence. This approach ensures that duties are shared equitably and prevents any single party from holding a position indefinitely, thereby promoting fairness and balanced participation.
Cyclic Positions. Cyclic positions are scheduled to work less than twelve (12) full months each year due to known, recurring periods in the fiscal year when the position is not needed. Before the start of each fiscal year, incumbents of cyclic positions will be informed, in writing, of their scheduled periods of leave without pay in the ensuing cycle. Such periods of leave without pay will not constitute a break in service.
