Curriculum and Standards. 7.6.1 In recognition of the Trustees’ obligation to the Secretary of State to provide a broad and balanced curriculum, the Trustees shall be responsible for the setting and review of the curriculum but shall have regard to, but not be bound by, any views of the LGB. So long as the Academy is not deemed by the Trustees as posing significant risk or concern (which will not be solely determined by Ofsted category) which in their view is not being effectively addressed, it is the intention of Trustees that they will not change the curriculum of the Academy without the prior agreement of the LGB.
