Current Faculty. Faculty members with regular appointments of 168 duty days within the academic year may request to become nine-month faculty. Such request may be granted by agreement with the University and the local Faculty Association. Current faculty who become nine-month faculty may return to a regular appointment with the agreement of the local Faculty Association and the Administration.
