CSA Approval Clause Samples

The CSA Approval clause establishes that certain actions, products, or processes must receive approval from the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) before they can be used or implemented under the agreement. In practice, this means that any equipment, materials, or systems referenced in the contract must meet CSA standards and be certified accordingly, ensuring compliance with recognized safety and quality benchmarks. This clause serves to guarantee that all relevant components adhere to established regulatory requirements, thereby reducing the risk of non-compliance and enhancing overall safety and reliability in the execution of the contract.
CSA Approval. All electrical material, equipment and assemblies constituting part of the Goods shall be fully CSA approved and shall bear appropriate approval stickers in accordance with the requirement of the Canadian Electric Code and the applicable legislation and regulations.
