The main tuple-based interface of the CPM was as follows. • Goals were accepted by the CPM subscribing to service request tuples, like: ⟨ ⟩ service.463.request.type, LOAD_LAUNDRY These were typically produced by the web server PEIS. • Commands to any entity (e.g., robots, web server, elevator) were queued by sending out a set of tuples to that entity, like: ⟨ doro1.moveto.77.parameters, (5.14 -2.15 1.57) ⟩ ⟨ doro1.moveto.77.input, NONE ⟩ ⟨ doro1.moveto.77.command, IDLE ⟩ • A queued command was put in execution by setting the corresponding command tuple to ON, like: ⟨ doro1.moveto.77.command, ON ⟩ • The status of a command in execution was provided by the corresponding state tuple, like: ⟨ ⟩ doro1.moveto.77.state, COMPLETED The CPM accessed this status by subscribing to this state tuple from the relevant entity. • Information about the current context was provided by the CAM by publishing tuples of the form ⟨ ⟩ context.user.location.topological, L1_C1 The CPM accessed this information by subscribing to the relevant context tuples from the CAM.
