CPM Clause Samples
The CPM (Critical Path Method) clause defines the requirement for scheduling and managing project activities using the Critical Path Method. Under this clause, the contractor must prepare and maintain a detailed project schedule that identifies the sequence of tasks, their durations, dependencies, and the critical path that determines the minimum project completion time. For example, the schedule may need to be updated regularly to reflect progress and submitted for approval to the project owner. The core practical function of the CPM clause is to ensure effective project planning and control, enabling timely identification of delays and facilitating proactive management to keep the project on track.
