Coverall Practice Clause Samples

The "Coverall Practice" clause establishes requirements for comprehensive coverage or performance in a contractual context, ensuring that all aspects of a specified obligation are addressed. In practice, this clause may require a contractor to perform all necessary work, even if certain tasks are not explicitly listed in the contract documents, as long as they are reasonably inferable or necessary for the completion of the project. Its core function is to prevent gaps in responsibility and ensure that the intended outcome is fully achieved, thereby reducing disputes over scope and clarifying expectations between parties.
Coverall Practice. An employee permanently and continuously on one (1) of the jobs designated below may obtain coveralls from the mill store. He must sign a form agreeing to return the coveralls or be charged for them when he terminates. Employees entitled to coveralls may obtain a pair of clean coveralls each week according to their size and with their payroll number stamped on them, on surrender of the dirty pair. Coveralls are not issued ordinarily to persons not on a "coverall" job. If coveralls are required for a temporary job, the supervisor will arrange for their issue - the employee is responsible for their return.
