Coverage - Newly Hired Employees Not Previously Covered. Newly hired employees not previously covered by the Pension Trust are not considered Covered Employees until the first day of the first calendar month immediately after the commencement of employment. Such calendar month is the new employee's first benefit month. The immediately preceding calendar month is the employee's first wage month.
