Coverage During Plan Time. If a Professional Employee is assigned to cover another Professional Employee's classroom, and the assignment results in a loss of that individual's contractual right to plan time, as provided above, such coverage will be compensated at $20 per hour.
Coverage During Plan Time. Members of the Bargaining Unit will be paid $12 per hour when directed by a supervisor to cover a class during their planning time. This payment will be made in accordance with special payroll procedures. Reasonable best efforts will be made to avoid the requirement that teachers cover classes other than their own or have students temporarily added to their class due to insufficient staffing.
