Course Development. Appropriate faculty of each high school offering courses under this section and appropriate faculty of each institution of higher education with which the school district partners shall meet regularly as necessary to ensure that each course is aligned with college readiness expectations. Each school district, in consultation with each institution of higher education with which the district partners, shall develop or purchase instructional materials for a course developed under this section consistent with Education Code Chapter 31. The instructional materials must include technology resources that enhance the effectiveness of the course and draw on established best practices. Course Development. The contractor shall review and update both Learning Management System (LMS) and instructor led courses. The contractor shall analyze other Armed Services’ range operations related courseware for integration into the Army's ROPD program. The Contractor shall coordinate with the SRP program leads to develop new and update existing resident and DL ROPD courses. This shall include the identification of learning objectives, development of story boards, practical exercises, narratives, graphics, lesson plans, tests, and reviewing development versions. The Contractor shall lead instruction of resident courses. The details/specifics for updates to LMS and instructor led courses will be found in task orders.
Course Development. When full-time faculty members submit new course offerings upon their own initiative, they will not be remunerated for the effort of writing the courses. However, they have a right of first refusal for the assignment to teach three (3) day sections of the new course(s) they have developed. If the class/es is/are being offered as overload, the faculty member who developed the course must make the course his/her first and second selection, or he/she forfeits the right of first refusal for that semester. This section supersedes level one in overload selection. Non- classroom faculty members have a right of first refusal for the teaching assignment(s) outside their normal work hours. If a xxxx requests full-time faculty members to develop a specific new course to serve a specific purpose (e.g., a course required as part of a new program), they will be remunerated for such work at the appropriate rate in Appendix B-22, but may not necessarily have a right of first refusal to teach the course. The faculty member and the xxxx will agree to the approximate number of hours needed before the start of the work. If a xxxx requests adjunct faculty members to develop a specific new course to serve a specific purpose (e.g., a course required as part of a new program), they will be remunerated for such work at the appropriate rate in Appendix B-22. If rehired, the adjunct faculty member will have first right of refusal on courses he/she developed for up to three years before the class has to be revised. The faculty member and the xxxx will agree to the approximate number of hours needed before the start of the work. Training Solutions faculty shall have course development as part of their normal workload.
Course Development. A. Course development is recognized as either 1) creating a new online course, 2) converting an existing online course to the appropriate TCC online or Quality Matters format, or (3) significant redesign of an existing online course.
Course Development. When a Bargaining Unit Faculty Member upon written approval of the Xxxx, is requested to develop a new unit-bearing course (excluding January Term courses) that was not previously offered at the College, they will be paid $750 per unit. Course development is work made for hire and shall be the sole property of the College.
Course Development. A3.2.1 It is essential that those responsible for the planning and development of a program set aside time to meet and conduct organised discussions on the various components involved in the process of introducing a new program and delivering it successfully. This may devolve on one person, a small group of staff with mixed skills and qualifications or a large team consisting of staff and management. It is essential that all relevant information be collected before meetings to enable decisions to be made or during the progress of the program as its need is acknowledged to allow for necessary adjustments. Time needed for these meetings will vary depending on issues such as whether the program is a repeat or is new and how much change is required to previously-run programs. It is essential that planning be done early enough to allow lead time to perform various tasks which may be identified. During meetings, tasks must be allocated and notes made on other requirements which emerge.
Course Development. An adjunct faculty member who, at the request of the College, develops a new course shall be paid a one (1) time new course development fee of up to one thousand dollars ($1,000), but not less than four hundred dollars ($400).
