Common use of Corrupt Practices Legislation Clause in Contracts

Corrupt Practices Legislation. Neither Choom, its Subsidiaries nor their affiliates nor, to the knowledge of Choom, any of their respective officers, directors or employees acting on behalf of Choom or any of its Subsidiaries or affiliates has taken, committed to take or been alleged to have taken any action which would cause Choom or any of its Subsidiaries or affiliates to be in violation of the Corruption of Foreign Public Officials Act (Canada) (and the regulations promulgated thereunder), the United States’ Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (and the regulations promulgated thereunder), or any applicable Law of similar effect of any other jurisdiction, and to the knowledge of Choom, no such action has been taken by any of its agents, representatives or other Persons acting on behalf of Choom, its Subsidiaries or affiliates.
