Common use of Copy of Exam and Answer Key Clause in Contracts

Copy of Exam and Answer Key. An Employee may take a copy of the examination questions when the competition is completed. An Answer Key will be offered to each Employee after they hand in their answer sheet. Employees may challenge the answers to questions as indicated by the Answer Key of both the Exam and Re-Write for illness exam. They shall do so in writing to the Fire Chief no later than the Monday following the respective exam. Each question challenged shall be on a separate page and shall indicate the Employee’s name and rank, the rationale for the challenge and the location of any conflicting examinable material, where applicable. The Fire Chief shall immediately submit all challenges to the Division Chief Training. In addition, a copy of the Employee’s written examination may be picked up and signed for by the candidate at the Fire Chief’s office. This will include the candidate’s xxxx and the service credits added to the score. The candidate will also be given his/her placement on the Promotion and Acting lists, subject to change due to any amendments.
