Common use of Conveyance by Landlord Clause in Contracts

Conveyance by Landlord. If Landlord or any successor owner of any Facility shall convey such Facility other than as security for a debt, Landlord or such successor owner, as the case may be, shall thereupon be released from all future liabilities and obligations of the Landlord under this Lease arising or accruing from and after the date of such conveyance or other transfer and, subject to Section 16.2, all such future liabilities and obligations shall thereupon be binding upon the new owner.

Conveyance by Landlord. If Landlord or any successor owner of any Facility the Leased Property shall convey such Facility the Leased Property other than as security for a debt, Landlord or such successor owner, as the case may be, shall thereupon be released from all future liabilities and obligations of the Landlord under this Master Lease arising or accruing from and after the date of such conveyance or other transfer and, subject to Section 16.2, and all such future liabilities and obligations shall thereupon be binding upon the new owner.
