Conversion to Continuing Clause Samples

The 'Conversion to Continuing' clause defines the process by which a temporary or fixed-term arrangement is changed into a continuing, or permanent, status. Typically, this clause outlines the conditions under which such a conversion can occur, such as the completion of a probationary period, satisfactory performance, or the ongoing need for the role. For example, an employee on a fixed-term contract may be offered a continuing position if certain criteria are met. The core function of this clause is to provide a clear pathway for transitioning from temporary to permanent status, offering security for the individual and flexibility for the organization.
