Common use of Controls and Integration Clause in Contracts

Controls and Integration. The existing RTU is sufficient for the scope of this project. A new I/O card will be installed to accommodate the additions required for the Small Generating Facility. The new protective relays will connect to the existing SEL-2020 communications processors using RS- 232 serial connections. Digital panel meters will be required to provide analog telemetry for the new line position. RE-01 control handles capable of remote operation will be installed for the new circuit breaker for manual trip(open)/close operation of the R215 breaker and to provide necessary status of trip coil(s). A RE-43A/M control handle capable of remote operation shall be installed for breaker R215 to allow for the automatic reclosing function to be enabled or disabled.
