Control Charts Sample Clauses

Control Charts. Control charts will be established for NaI and ▇▇▇▇▇▇-▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ (G-M) detection equipment and the smear sample counter. Standard 2 and 3 sigma action levels will be utilized as action points on the alpha beta counter chart, while +/- 20% action levels (in accordance with ANSI N323A-1997, Radiation Protection Instrumentation and Test Calibration, Portable Survey Instruments) will be used for the G-M and NaI systems. Note that the control charts will be generated based on initial counting statistics for counts of radiation standards of known activity performed on calibrated detection equipment. Alpha beta smear counters will use thorium-230 (Th-230) and technicium-99 (Tc-99) standards for the alpha and beta channels, respectively. G-M detection equipment will use a Tc-99 standard and NaI detectors will be checked against a cesium-137 (Cs-137) source. Once control charts are established, daily QC checks will be plotted on each instrument’s control chart. The charts will be used to discern observable trends in instrument performance. The FOL will review each control chart daily to observe and correct any adverse response trends. In the case of the G-M and NaI equipment, a QC count outside the +/- 20% action level will cause the detection system to be removed from service for corrective action. In the case of the alpha beta counting system, a QC count outside the 2 sigma error band may be repeated. If the next count is within the 2 sigma band, the detector will be acceptable for use that day. If the second count is outside the 2 sigma band, or if the initial QC count is outside the 3 sigma band, the system will be removed from service for corrective action.
Control Charts. A type of statistical process control tool that uses the relationship of observations to the mean and control limits to study how a process changes over time, also known as Shewhart charts. Coordinated Services Program (CSP) – As defined in OAC rule 5160-20-01, a program that requires an individual to obtain services related to the reason for enrollment from an assigned provider. An individual enrolled in CSP is eligible for all medically necessary services covered by Medicaid. Covered Entity – A health plan, a health care clearinghouse, or health care provider under 45 CFR 160.103.
Control Charts. Contractor may develop production control charts and post for visual reference in the testing laboratory. The control charts should identify the project number, the contract item number, the test number, each test parameter, the Action and Suspension Limits applicable to each test parameter, and the production test results. If the project data during production indicates a problem and the Contractor is not taking satisfactory corrective action, then the Engineer may suspend production or acceptance of the material.
