Contractor’s Protective Sample Clauses

The Contractor’s Protective clause is designed to safeguard the contractor from liabilities or losses that may arise due to actions or omissions beyond their control, often relating to the work of subcontractors or third parties. In practice, this clause may specify that the contractor is not responsible for damages caused by unforeseen site conditions or by the client’s own instructions, and it may require the client to indemnify the contractor in such cases.
