Common use of Contractor's Certificate of Payment Clause in Contracts

Contractor's Certificate of Payment. The signing of a payment application will constitute a representation by Contractor to County that the Work has progressed to the point indicated and that, to the best of Contractor's knowledge, information, and belief, the Work is in accordance with the Project Documents (subject to any specific qualifications stated in the payment application) and that Contractor is entitled to payment in the amount certified.
