Contracting Services. The City School District reserves the right to contract for any service when such action is in the best interest of the District. However, the City School District will absorb any personnel with five (5) or more years of service into comparable paid vacancies then existing if the letting of such contract should result in the elimination of a job for an employee or employees. Further, the City School District will attempt to have the contractor employ such personnel. At least five (5) days before the Board of Education meets to vote upon a recommendation to contract services which results in the elimination of jobs within the unit, the District and Union shall meet to discuss implementation of this Section.
Contracting Services. 1. If the Hospital contemplates contracting for work normally performed by staff covered by this Agreement, the Hospital agrees that at least four weeks (28 calendar days) prior to the execution of such contract, to meet with the Union for discussion of the proposed contract.

Contracting Services. Titan shall provide the Company reasonable contracting services as requested by the Company, including assistance with contract negotiations and administration of contracts.
Contracting Services. The District agrees not to contract out any jobs that Employees covered by the Labor Agreement are qualified to perform through the life of this Agreement. Time sensitive and/or emergent projects are exempt from this provision, so long as no employee loses work hours due to the district using outside companies.
Contracting Services. Upon request of the union, the committee shall meet for the purposes of discussing contracting services, which are also performed by permanent employees whose classifications are contained in this unit. The committee shall look at all benefits that can be attributed to contracting the work in. During the term of this agreement, as positions are vacated, the committee will work to assure that those vacated positions are filled rather than contracting out additional work. The County shall respond to information requests initiated by the unit representatives to address the subject matter.
Contracting Services. XXXXX’s Manager is the task administrator for this Agreement. XXXXX’s designated representative will communicate with the Contractor on all matters related to the administration of this Agreement and the Contractor’s performance of the services rendered hereunder. When this Agreement refers to communications to or with IVRMA, those communications will be with the designated representative, unless the designated representative or this Agreement specifies otherwise. XXXXX has the resolute authorization and requisite permits to collect waste tires and engage in this Agreement with the Contractor. The Contractor has the authority, expertise and requisite permits to receive and properly manage manifested waste tires delivered from IVRMA site(s). The Contractor carries and is current with all bonds and insurance required by CalRecycle for waste tire hauling (permit #16-02088) and processing operations (permit #1620515-01) in the State of California. IVRMA shall remunerate the Contractor’s services at the delivered rate of eighty dollars ($80) per ton during the first year of the agreement and eight-three dollars ($83) per ton during the second year of this agreement. In addition to the Contractor’s covenants described hereof, the Contractor agrees that the contracting services rendered under this Agreement shall be performed in accordance with the standards customarily adhered to by an experienced and competent professional contracting firm using the degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by reputable professionals practicing in the same field of service in the State of California. Where approval by XXXXX, XXXXX’s Manager or other representatives of IVRMA is required, it is understood to be general approval only and does not relieve the Contractor of responsibility for complying with all applicable laws, codes and good contracting practices. It is understood and agreed that the Contractor, in the performance of the work and services agreed to be performed by the Contractor, shall act as and be an independent contractor and not an agent or employee of IVRMA, and as an independent contractor, shall obtain no rights to retirement benefits or other benefits which accrue to IVRMA’s, and Contractor hereby expressly waives any claim it may have to any such rights. Contracting Services. Xxxxxx State University and the Union agree that employees’ jobs will not be eliminated by reason of a practice of contracting out and that existing employment opportunities of employees will not be unnecessarily reduced by reason of management contracting out work. The University agrees that it is its policy to fully utilize its employees in the performance of work which the employees have historically performed.
