Common use of Contracting Information Clause in Contracts

Contracting Information. To the extent Section 552.371 of the Texas Government Code applies to Vendor and the Contract, in accordance with Section 552.372 of the Texas Government Code, Vendor must (a) preserve all contracting information related to the Contract in accordance with the records retention requirements applicable to the GLO for the duration of the Contract, (b) no later than the tenth business day after the date of the GLO’s request, provide to the GLO any contracting information related to the Contract that is in Vendor’s custody or possession, and (c) on termination or expiration of the Contract, either (i) provide to the GLO at no cost all contracting information related to the Contract that is in Vendor’s custody or possession or (ii) preserve the contracting information related to the Contract in accordance with the records retention requirements applicable to the GLO. Except as provided by Section 552.374(c) of the Texas Government Code, the requirements of Subchapter J, Chapter 552, Government Code, may apply to the Contract and Vendor agrees that the Contract may be terminated if Vendor knowingly or intentionally fails to comply with a requirement of that subchapter.*
