Contract Use Clause Samples

The "Contract Use" clause defines how the contract and its contents may be utilized by the parties involved. Typically, it outlines whether the contract is intended solely for the specific transaction between the parties or if its terms, templates, or intellectual property can be reused, shared, or disclosed to third parties. For example, it may restrict one party from using the contract as a precedent for other deals or from distributing its terms to competitors. The core function of this clause is to protect the proprietary nature of the contract and ensure that its use is limited to the agreed context, thereby preventing unauthorized dissemination or misuse.
