Contract Requests. If a teacher is going to be recommended for a two-year contract, a teacher shall be given a one-year contract on request of said teacher, providing the teacher will be eligible for tenure/continuing contract in one year and providing the request is made by the teacher before the regular March Board of Education meeting.
