Common use of Contract Days Clause in Contracts

Contract Days. The contract days of employees, exclusive of supplemental or extended time contracts, shall be 187 days including 1/2 floating workday, four (4) of which shall be non-teaching professional days. Of the two (2) days before school starts, one (1) full day or two (2) half-days of the two shall be left solely for teacher preparation. Beginning in 2001-2002, one non-teaching professional day will be split and one- half day scheduled at the end of the first semester or at the beginning of the second semester, and one-half day scheduled at the end of the second semester.
