Continuing Total Disability. Each employee who is unable to perform the assigned duties of the employee’s position as the result of an on-the-job injury or job-related illness shall receive a duty related disability pension benefit pursuant to the Pension Plan in which they have enrolled. Required payments may come from a combination of the pension plan, the City’s Workers’ Compensation carrier, or other sources.
