Continuing Assignment Clause Samples
A Continuing Assignment clause establishes that certain rights, interests, or obligations—often related to assets, intellectual property, or contractual benefits—are assigned on an ongoing basis rather than as a one-time transfer. In practice, this means that as new assets or rights are acquired or come into existence during the term of the agreement, they are automatically included in the assignment without the need for additional documentation. This clause ensures that the assignee consistently receives the benefit of all relevant assets or rights, solving the problem of having to repeatedly execute new assignments for each subsequent acquisition.
