Continuing Appointments. An academic librarian may be given a continuing appointment independent of rank or classification. The decision concerning a continuing appointment shall be made in the best interests of the University and the academic librarian, and shall reflect the written annual reviews referred to in s. 17.A.4.2 above. A continuing appointment may be terminated only as provided in this Agreement.
