Common use of Continuation of Base Salary and Benefits Clause in Contracts

Continuation of Base Salary and Benefits. If the Executive dies while an employee of the Employer and during the term of this Agreement, the Employer shall continue to pay the Base Salary and to pay or provide medical, dental and other insurance and welfare type benefits, on the basis described in Section 5(a)(i), to the Executive’s family members who were covered for such benefits immediately prior to the Executive’s death, for a period of 2 years and 364 days following Executive’s death.

Continuation of Base Salary and Benefits.
