Consumer protection 1. The Parties recognize the importance of maintaining and adopting transparent and effective measures to protect consumers from fraudulent and deceptive commercial practices in electronic commerce. 2. To this end, the Parties shall exchange information on their experiences in protecting consumers engaged in electronic commerce.
CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT 40.1 The parties confirm that this sale did not come about as a result of direct marketing by the Seller and/or its agent/s but has been concluded as a result of consultative negotiations between the parties.
Consumer information The Retailer will on reasonable written request from the Distributor, and within a reasonable timeframe, provide the Distributor with such Consumer information as is reasonably available to the Retailer and necessary to enable the Distributor to fulfil its obligations in accordance with this agreement. If any words alone or in combination infringe consumer rights laws or any other provision of law, they shall be treated as severable and shall be replaced with words which give as near the original meaning as may be fair. Nothing in these terms and conditions affects the Parents' statutory rights.
