Common use of Consulting Review and Reporting/Recommendation Services Clause in Contracts

Consulting Review and Reporting/Recommendation Services. The standards for the term “consulting review and reporting/recommendation services” require that the Consultant, by the execution of this Contract, contracts that it is possessed of that degree of care, learning, skill, and ability which is ordinarily possessed by other members of its profession and further contracts that in the performance of the duties herein set forth it will exercise such degree of care, learning, skill, and ability as is ordinarily employed by such professionals under similar conditions and like circumstances and shall perform such duties without professional neglect. In meeting this standard of care, the Consultant may, in all respects, rely upon the calculations and work provided by the professional creating the documents being reviewed. This standard is also applicable to forensic or litigation consulting review services.
