The "Consultants’ Services Provided by Individuals" clause defines the terms under which individual consultants, rather than consulting firms, are engaged to provide professional services. Consultants’ Services Provided by Individuals. (a) The prior review procedures set forth in paragraphs 2, 3 and 4 of Appendix 1 to the Consultant Guidelines shall apply to each contract for consultants’ services provided by an individual estimated to cost the equivalent of $50,000 or more.
(b) The following prior review procedures shall apply to each contract for consultants’ services provided by an individual to be procured on the basis of single source selection: (i) the qualifications, experience, terms of reference and conditions of employment of the consultants shall be furnished to the Bank for its prior review and approval; (ii) the contract shall be awarded only after the Bank’s approval shall have been given; and (iii) the provisions of paragraph 3 of Appendix 1 to the Consultant Guidelines shall apply to the contract.
Consultants’ Services Provided by Individuals. The following prior review procedures shall apply to contracts for the employment of individual consultants: (a) the report on the comparison of the qualifications and experience of candidates, terms of reference and terms of employment of the consultants (or, if the consultant is to be selected on a sole source basis, the qualifications, experience, terms of reference and terms of employment of the consultants) shall be furnished to the Association for its prior review and approval; (b) the contract shall be awarded only after the Association’s approval shall have been given; and (c) the provisions of paragraph 3 and 5 of Appendix 1 to the Consultant Guidelines shall apply to the contract.
