Common use of Construction Codes Clause in Contracts

Construction Codes. The Project must be constructed in compliance with all applicable State and local zoning, land use, and building code requirements. The Project’s Final Plans must clearly list all building codes applicable to the Project, including without limitations, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire codes. In the absence of State or local building codes, construction must meet the requirements of the International Residential Code (as referred to in 24 CFR § 251) or the International Building Code (as referred to in 24 CFR § 251), as applicable.
