Common use of Construction and Amendment Clause in Contracts

Construction and Amendment. The terms of this Contract are to be construed in accordance with the meaning of the language used and not construed for or against either Party due to authorship or any other rule of construction that might otherwise apply. Paragraph and section headings are for convenience or reference only and do not limit or extend the meaning of any provision. This Contract may only be modified or amended by the Parties’ mutual written consent.
