Conduct of Petroleum Operations. 1. With due observance of legal and contractual provisions and subject to the decisions of the Operating Committee, Contractor, through the Operator, shall act in the common interest of the Parties and shall undertake the execution of the work inherent in Petroleum Operations in accordance with the Law and the professional rules and standards which are generally accepted in the international petroleum industry.
