Common use of Compromised Account Clause in Contracts

Compromised Account. If you or we suspect that your account is or may be compromised (including any unauthorized transactions on the account), we may recommend that you close your account and open a new account. If we recommend that you close your account and you do not do so, we are not liable to you for subsequent losses or damages on the account due to unauthorized transactions. When you open a new account, you are responsible for notifying any third parties that need to know your new account number.
