Common use of COMPLIANCE WITH GOVERNMENT LAWS AND REGULATIONS Clause in Contracts

COMPLIANCE WITH GOVERNMENT LAWS AND REGULATIONS. B.5.1 Contractor shall comply with all federal, state and local laws, codes, regulations and ordinances applicable to the Work and the Contract. Failure to comply with such requirements shall constitute a breach of Contract and shall be grounds for Contract termination. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Contractor expressly agrees to comply with the following as applicable: i) Title VI and VII of Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended; (ii) Section 503 and 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended; (iii) the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996; (iv) the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, as amended; (v) ORS Chapter 659A; as amended (vi) all regulations and administrative rules established pursuant to the foregoing laws; and (vii) all other applicable requirements of federal and state civil rights and rehabilitation statutes, rules and regulations. Owner’s performance under the Contract is conditioned upon Contractor's compliance with the provisions of ORS 279C.505, 279C.510, 279C.515, 279C.520, and 279C.530, which are incorporated by reference herein.
