Compliance With Drawings Clause Samples

The 'Compliance With Drawings' clause requires that all work performed under a contract strictly adheres to the drawings and plans provided by the client or architect. In practice, this means contractors must follow the specifications, dimensions, and details shown in the approved drawings when constructing or assembling project elements. This clause ensures that the finished work matches the intended design and helps prevent disputes over deviations, thereby maintaining quality and consistency throughout the project.
Compliance With Drawings. Contractor shall perform the Work and require that materials and equipment are procured and supplied substantially in accordance with the final drawings and documents submitted by Contractor to GEC under this Section 3.3. If Contractor departs in any material respect from any drawings or documents previously submitted to GEC, it shall submit an amended drawing or document to GEC for its review in accordance with the foregoing provisions of this Section 3.3.

Compliance With Drawings. In the case of Drawings and Specifications that Contractor has submitted to Owner for review in accordance with Exhibit L, Contractor shall inform the Owner of its intent to deviate from such previously submitted Drawing and Specifications prior to departing from such. Such notice will include details of such deviation. Within five (5) Business Days of receipt of such deviation notice, Owner shall respond with its approval or any comments thereto. If Owner fails to respond within five (5) Business Day of receipt of such deviation notice, then such drawing or document shall be deemed to have been acceptable to Owner.
