Common use of Completing Construction Clause in Contracts

Completing Construction. Builder shall complete construction within working days from the start of construction. "Working day" means Monday through Friday except national and state holidays. If the progress of the work is delayed by changes or acts of Buyer or Buyer's agent, government acts, inclement weather, flood, earthquake, picketing, boycotts, shortages of materials, or other causes beyond the reasonable control of Builder, the time for performance of the work shall be extended as necessary.
