Common use of Completed Clause in Contracts

Completed. A structure, improvement or building is “Completed” when a “certificate of occupancy” has been issued by a licensed architect or the appropriate governmental authority. The “Completion” of a structure, improvement, or building shall mean the issuance of a “certificate of occupancy” by a licensed architect or the appropriate governmental agency for such structure, improvement or building.
