Common use of Competitive Entity Clause in Contracts

Competitive Entity. Competitive Entity" shall mean any business in any of the fields of biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, functional foods or nutraceuticals, where such business conducts, has conducted or intends to conduct research respecting, or has commercialized or intends to commercialize, any product, formulation or compound, which in any way directly conflicts or competes with the business or research and development of the Company.

Competitive Entity. Competitive Entity. For purposes of this Agreement, a Competitive Entity" shall mean Entity is any person, firm, corporation, partnership, limited liability company, business trust, or other entity that is engaged in a business that competes with any business activity engaged in any of the fields of biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, functional foods or nutraceuticals, where such business conducts, has conducted or intends to conduct research respecting, or has commercialized or intends to commercialize, any product, formulation or compound, which in any way directly conflicts or competes with the business or research and development of the by Company.
