The 'Compensation and Planning Time' clause defines the terms under which an individual or entity is paid for time spent on planning activities related to a project or service. Compensation and Planning Time. Assigned mentors shall be compensated for their work as a mentor teacher at $500.00 for the first mentee and $200.00 for each additional mentee in subsequent years, except when the mentee is completing the Resident Educator formal assessment. In assessment years, $500.00 will be paid for each additional mentee.
Compensation and Planning Time a. Mentors shall receive a stipend of one thousand dollars ($1,000) per year for each Resident Educator. Facilitators shall receive a stipend of five hundred dollars ($500) per year for each Resident Educator.
b. A Mentor Teacher/Facilitator shall receive the equivalent of one
(1) day of release time per semester. Additional release time may be approved by the Principal.
c. The District will pay all training fees required for Mentors/Facilitators to receive the mandatory ODE state Mentor/Facilitator training.
Compensation and Planning Time. Mentor teachers shall be issued a limited supplemental contract and be compensated in accordance with the provisions of the Extra Duty Salary Schedule. During the first semester of a school year, the mentor teacher shall receive a minimum of two (2) periods of released time. Additional released time may be approved by the principal.
