Companies’ Responsibility. Companies shall defend and indemnify City and hold City harmless for, from and against each of the following: (i) any and all breaches and defaults and claimed breaches and defaults under the Line Extension Agreements that arose, occurred or accrued on or before the Closing Date; and (ii) all refunds of Advances in Aid of Construction that were due and owing under any Line Extension Agreement on or before the Closing Date. The obligation of Companies under this Section 2.9.1 is part of the Retained Liabilities.

  • Parties Responsibilities It is the duty of Management to make every reasonable effort to provide and maintain a safe place of employment. CAPE will cooperate by encouraging all employees to perform their work in a safe manner. It is the duty of all employees in the course of performing their regularly assigned duties to be alert to unsafe practices, equipment, and conditions and to report any such unsafe practices, or conditions to their immediate supervisors. If such condition cannot be satisfactorily remedied by the immediate supervisor, the employee has the right to submit the matter in writing either personally or through his area representative to the local facility safety office. On any matter of safety that is not resolved by the safety officer within a reasonable period of time, the area representative may confer with the safety officer who will respond in writing. If the area representative is not satisfied with the response of the safety officer, a CAPE representative may consult with the Chief of the Health, Safety, Disability and Benefits Division of the Department of Human Resources or his designate. A representative of such branch shall investigate the matter and advise the Assessor and CAPE of his findings, and recommendations, if any.

  • Association Responsibility The Association recognizes its responsibility as exclusive representative and agrees to represent all employees in the bargaining unit without discrimination.

  • Union Responsibility In accordance with the Labour Relations Act, 1995 of the Revised Statutes of Ontario, 1995, as amended, and the Ontario Human Rights Code, C.19, of the Revised Statutes of Ontario, 1990, as amended, the Union accepts the following responsibilities:

  • Cost Responsibility Interconnection Customer shall be responsible for and shall pay upon demand all Costs associated with the interconnection of the Customer Facility as specified in the Tariff. These Costs may include, but are not limited to, an Attachment Facilities charge, a Local Upgrades charge, a Network Upgrades charge and other charges. A description of the facilities required and an estimate of the Costs of these facilities are included in Sections 3.0 and 4.0 of the Specifications to this ISA.

  • Employee’s Responsibility WORK START TIME Employees shall be in their respective assigned working locations, ready to commence work at their designated starting times, and they shall not leave their working locations at times or in a manner inconsistent with the terms of this Agreement.
