COMMUTERS. Focus group conclusion: The main problem for commuters is the time spent in traffic. They would rather use the means of public transport, but this is not a viable solution due to the low bus frequency and the equally congested traffic, since there is no dedicated lane for buses to travel on. The main solutions proposed were the introduction of a greater number of buses and easing the traffic flow, the building of parking lots at the entrances to the city and encouraging the use of bicycles and scooters. Even if these solutions reduced the time spent in traffic, some commuters would still be using their cars for several reasons (convenience, education, the need to transport children to school, others).
