Community Services. Credit may be granted for such activities within the geographical area of the District provided no remuneration has been received for the service. The time expended in the activity will be considered. To qualify for salary credit, the community service should have the following attributes: (1) It should be of a type which the employee is particularly qualified to perform as a result of training and experience. (2) It should be definitely educative in nature. (3) It should be concerned with youth leadership. (4) It should enhance the value of the employee to the District by bringing about personal, intellectual, and social growth on the part of the employee and by broadening the employee's understanding of the interests and problems of youth and their parents.
