Common use of Communication of Safety Concerns Clause in Contracts

Communication of Safety Concerns. Notwithstanding any other provision of this Release, the Employee remains free to report or otherwise communicate any nuclear safety concern, any workplace safety concern, or any public safety concern to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, United States Department of Labor, or any other appropriate federal or state governmental agency, and the Employee remains free to participate in any federal or state administrative, judicial, or legislative proceeding or investigation with respect to any claims and matters not resolved and terminated pursuant to the Severance Agreement and this Release. With respect to any claims and matters resolved and terminated pursuant to the Severance Agreement and this Release, the Employee is free to participate in any federal or state administrative, judicial, or legislative proceeding or investigation if subpoenaed. The Employee shall give the Company, through its legal counsel, notice, including a copy of the subpoena, within twenty-four (24) hours of receipt thereof.
